Will my ceiling fan fit?

mistral-ceiling-fan-will-my-ceiling-fan-fit

Will my ceiling fan fit? That is an important question to ask. Either you have already bought an amazing wooden ceiling fan from us.  Or you are looking to buy one but you are not sure if you should buy one or two as your room is quite big. It’s one of the most challenging aspects of buying a ceiling fan. You want to get the best possible outcome of the effects without under doing it or overdoing it. Too small a ceiling fan for the room might not look as asethically pleasing. Which cause the fan to work overtime. On the other hand, too large a ceiling fan for the space can also look unasethetically pleasing.  This can cause too much airflow movement.

Calculate the dimensions for your ceiling fan

The best way to look at this is to calculate the dimensions of the room but measuring the room’s length by width and then mutlipyling them together. This gives you the room’s sqm (square meter).

Guide to room sizes your ceiling fan needs to fit in

Smaller rooms or bedrooms measuring 4m x 4m or 16 sqm are best suited to have a Mistral ceiling fan.  A Breeze ceiling fan would also be a great option.  Just one fan is required for this room size.

Average sized rooms such as bedrooms, measuring bigger than 16 sqm or less than 25 sqm will benefit from our Mistral ceiling fan or Breeze ceiling fan and just one is perfectly suitable.

Large rooms such as bigger bedrooms or living rooms, greeted than 25 sqm can benefit from the Levante ceiling fan  range. Depending on the style of the room, the Mistral ceiling fan or Breeze ceiling fan will be suitable too. For contemporary homes, we recommend going with the Levante ceiling fan  style fan as they really do add another dimension.

For extra large spaces 32 sqm or bigger is where we start adding in additional fans. For every additional 16 sqm, we suggest adding an additional ceiling fan.

Best placement of your ceiling fan

The first thing we advise you to do is look at the square meterage of the room.  However, it’s also important to understand where most people hang out in the area. For example, its not necessary to put the ceiling fan in a walk way where a door is always open but rather above a dining room table where you will be sitting for a longer period of time.
